Based on patient reviews, Dr. Dina V. Hunter is a phenomenal, world-class physician with extraordinary intellectual range. She is a wonderful and kind person who is grounded, compassionate, and has an acutely high emotional IQ. Patients describe her as very knowledgeable and thorough. She has treated patients for years with the utmost respect and is good at what she does. Dr. Hunter is willing to keep digging until she is satisfied she has correctly taken care of the problem. She has successfully diagnosed medication reactions that other doctors could not figure out and has performed incisions to drain infections. During appointments, she explains what she thinks the problem could be and has even sketched pictures to help patients understand. She goes out of her way to find information and referrals for her patients. While the wait for an appointment may be quick, it is well worth it because she knows what she is doing. Patients have had spots frozen off and biopsies performed efficiently. Dr. Hunter is very professional and explains everything thoroughly. She is nothing like negative reviews suggest, and patients give her a thousand stars. Many have seen her for over 15 years and will never change dermatologists.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hunter since 2009, when she diagnosed my melanoma. Over the years, she has helped me with many different skin concerns and has always gone above and beyond. She takes the time to truly listen, never makes me feel rushed, and genuinely cares about her patients. I’ve also noticed that the wait times have improved a lot over the years. But even when there is a wait, I don’t mind because I’d rather have a doctor who gives every patient the time they need. Dr. Hunter is knowledgeable, compassionate, and I highly recommend her!
Today I became a new patient at this practice. I was highly impressed from the minute at check-in with a very polite and courteous front office staff. Dr. Hunter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with my various issues. She was very thorough with her examination and offered solutions. Dr. Hunter even caught a pre-cancerous growth on my face that I had no clue what it was initially. Dr. Hunter took her time listening to me and provided great care.
Looks like I found a GREAT dermatologist to keep seeing!
