Just WOW. Our 2 night stay here was everything I could have hoped it would be and more… I mean who wouldn’t want to stay in a magical historic mansion? I have had Wentworth Mansion on my hotel bucket list for a number of years and could not be happier with our experience.We stayed in room 1, which is a garden room with a cute little outdoor patio. The room was very spacious and felt like we had stepped back in time…but with electricity! We took advantage of the big whirlpool tub both evenings which was a treat. All the reviews are accurate. Charming, historic , romantic, wonderful customer service. Evening hors d’oeuvres very tasty as were the Morning pastries. Breakfast lovely. Short walk to King street. If you’re a Catholic-the first Catholic Church established in Georgia & the Carolinas is just down the street , St. Mary.

A great place to stay and enjoy all things Charleston! While the remnants of hurricane Idalia threw a couple of minor “glitches” into our stay the innkeeper and staff were very responsive and up to the challenges. The spa offerings and staff are right up there with the best of the best. And viewing the moonrise from the cupola was an unsurpassed highlight! Thanks to all for a great vacation.Food & drinks: Breakfast is the bomb!
