“Great experience! Highly professional friendly staff, I felt like we were in the best of hands- very cool edgy artistic vibe, but at the same time highly professional and warm environment.

My 18-year-old daughter was dead-set on getting a tattoo. So I was like, Ok, I will go with you and get one too. I got a tattoo at 18 too, 30 years ago, only I went by myself and am lucky to be alive (in many ways ha ha).

So instead of dissuading my daughter I decided I would manage the process, so I did tons of research and found Holy City Tattooing Collective. I researched all the artists, and both my daughter and I really loved Jason Eisenberg’s work.

My daughter wanted a bird design, and I wanted an SC flag tattoo- but the artist’s variation on that theme. I’m not from SC. Mr. Eisenberg is an SC native, and he’s obviously super talented, and I loved his artwork, so I wanted him to design his own variation and run with it.

My only tattoo before this was this very ill-fated attempted triskalion 30 years ago that quickly turned into a blob, and I would like to get covered up. After that experience, I never got another tattoo- until now.

I was super nervous! Jason and other staff were friendly and put me at my ease. He chatted and played a bunch of old school rap- some stuff I haven’t heard for like 30 years- and I ended up actually having a blast at the tattoo session!

My daughter was the same. This was her first tattoo. I was really nervous. He played her favorite music, he was very reassuring, and she had such a positive experience. I was so happy!
