“The shop, artists, staff, and experience 10/10. From the time I walked into Dark Tide Gallery and walked out, I was treated with respect and professionalism. I was a walk in while vacationing, Mike was my artist. Did not hesitate, to draw exactly what I asked for and was able to give me a quote, not an estimate like other shops. As an African American it is hard to find an artist that is knowledgable enough to do color on my skin. They all made me feel very comfortable. This was my 8th tattoo and it is by far the best. Overall this shop in my opinion is the best in Beaufort. I will be back for more tattoos.“

“Last week, I went down to Hilton Head, SC to celebrate my much older sister's 35th birthday. It was amazing. We don't get time together, just the 2 of us, so it really was an extra amazing week. Leading up to the trip, she and I had talked about getting tattoos together and had even discussed what we wanted and the meanings behind them. They were going to be personal and we were excited to create that memory together. In true "me" fashion, we did next to no research until we arrived and found ourselves trying to decipher where to go. Well, 3rd time was a charm, y'all. I don't ever post reviews, but I truly am so grateful and in love with this place and its people. It's not easy finding a place to trust, so I'm glad I can share my findings. No need for more research. Do NOT go to the top google search places. This place is it. Clean, comfy, so relaxed yet completely professional. I came in with vague sketches and ideas and they gave me something better than I had imagined. I didn't feel like just another customer. They seemed to be invested in the creation and quality. It was really awesome to see their attention to detail and respect for their art. They walked us through their process and were very customer-centered. I cannot recommend them enough and I will definitely be making an appointment with them the next time I'm in the area. So much love! Thank you, Christina and Jacob! I hope to see y'all again soon!“
