Michel Berda with King Street Photo Weddings was absolutely fantastic! He took his time to capture all of the precious moments — he does not rush you through at all. He takes pride in his work, and it shows through in the final product. We had a sunset session, and Michel had all the lighting and camera equipment to take photos in the day and night. Not only was his work product superb, but he is also very kind and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Michel for any photoshoot!

Wow! I don't usually write reviews but I feel our experience with Michel Berda of King Street Photo Weddings deserves one. First off, my husband was the one that found Michel as he was researching photographers in the Charleston area for his families reunion. He had a choice of two photographers but the Marriott where we would be staying recommended Michel Berda of King Street Photo Weddings. After speaking with Michel on the phone my husband had a good feeling and went with him. I'm so glad he did, not only was Michel prompt but he brought almost his entire studio of photographic and lighting gear with him. The session was only supposed to last about 45 minutes and Michel went above and beyond and stayed until we captured every family which was well over 2+ hours. The shoot was this past Saturday night and we were not supposed to receive the pictures for at least 2 -3 weeks to allow for processing. However Michel once again blew us away and delivered the pictures today, Tuesday morning. I have worked with A LOT of family photographers and let's just say this has to be the BEST experience I have had with a photographer. Seriously, the pictures came out AMAZING and we will cherish them for years to come. Michel WOWED me from my initial interaction with him. I began to research for the photographer we wanted to capture for the day I married my husband. My mother had already chosen the photographer she wanted me to use but I was not sold. So I started reaching out to 10-15 different photographers in Charleston. I was not impressed by any of them until I reached out to Michel.He IMMEDIATELY responded to my emails and was VERY quick to get back to me with excellent attention to detail, understanding of what I would need on the day of my wedding, and offering to support me as I had not even chosen my venue/even visited Charleston. NO other photographer displayed the level of professionalism that Michel displayed.I am usually on top of most details and to find someone that understood the urgency of how I work and to exceed my expectation is also VERY hard to find.Michel consulted me every step of the way. Scott and I decided to visit Charleston to scope out the area and Michel provided a list of places to visit and then we had a consultation to discuss where we wanted to get married and what shots we wanted to have the day of. I sent over an Itinerary and PowerPoint and he thoughtfully provided feedback that supported my organization and planning on the day off. Like for Real!!!!!????!! Amazing!Michel already gave me immense confidence and trust that he would provide photos to cherish for life. He consistently confirmed this over and over during the process (which helped my anxiety). He understood the importance of having him on our day.We were supposed to get rain and even before our wedding he helped us to plan an alternative plan with promises of excellent photos if needed. Luckily the weather held out! Michel was early, so kind, positive, and confident and helped organize everyone before I arrived.Michel captured our wedding with utmost professionalism! He kept us laughing, providing a plan for our photo session throughout Magnolia Plantations, and encouraged me to relax to get better shots.He crawled on the ground with Fire Ants, squatted in the bushes to get more artistic shots and was SO patient!! He also carried around his supportive photography lights throughout the Park and worked his butt off to make sure we were getting captivating pictures!Michel also was flexible to split our time and even worked longer than we hired him for so that we could capture some sunset shots!!! Again, Michel was early, carried his supportive photography lights throughout downtown and laid on the ground many times to get the PERFECT SHOT!We have ALREADY seen some of his pictures prior to him even editing them and OHHHHHH MMYYYY GOSH!!I would love love love to do more photoshoot sessions with Michel in the future as he is not just an EXCELLENT AND TALENTED photographer…which he is. Michel is incredibly kind, soooo funny, so very professional, and takes his work extremely serious. Scott and I feel incredibly blessed to have met Michel and to have had him capture our Wedding.I would ABSOLUTELY recommend having him as your photographer for ANY event…you will be so so grateful you hired him!!
