You have talented instructors like mine (Denys Simon) who are professional and kind-all of them. I'm as amateur as you can get and I have always felt welcomed and in a no-judgement surrounding with only encouragement and this drives me to keep continuing to learn and improve. Did I mention that the entire staff is incredible? Okay, there you go....so if you are looking for a dance studio this is hands down the best in this city.
We came for a few lessons to prepare for the first dance at our wedding. Denys was an incredible instructor and got us ready for the big day in only a few sessions despite neither of us having danced before. 10/10
Highly recommend International Ballroom Dance Studios! I have been taking classes at the Charleston/West Ashley studio for several months and am loving them; the entire staff is welcoming and helpful, the studio space is nice, and the teachers are great. I have mainly taken classes from Denys, who is professional and great at teaching a lot of material while keeping it fun, but all of the instructors seem to be top notch!
