My updated review on CJ’s Barbershop. I will say my previous review may have been a bit brash and I will say as a physician I may be stuck in my habits of wanting prompt services and may sometimes be stuck in that “Go mode” for lack of better words. However, CJ gained so much more respect from me and I will say he is a very STAND UP GUY and cuts very well hence him fixing my mistakes cutting my own hair. As a person who has been to 7 different barbers/barbershops in Charleston and CJ’s being my 8th. I’m proud to say he is my Charleston barber and wouldn’t change. I moved to the area a little over 3 years ago without knowing where I would get my haircut and stumbled upon CJ and team’s shop on Savannah Highway. I haven’t gotten my haircut anywhere else in the area since. I wouldn’t even describe this place as a hidden gem, it’s a Charleston staple. From my experience, many locals and non-locals come here often. The barbers (CJ, Andy and Korey) are very professional and always greet anyone who steps through their doors with kindness and respect.
