From Carrie Elizabeth Busch, MD
Dr. Carrie Busch is an assistant professor in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Child Abuse Pediatrics. She received her M.D. from Texas A&M, completed her residency in general pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and remained at MUSC to complete a dual Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship. She was the first fellow in the nation to complete both of these trainings in a combined setting. During her fellowship she also completed a Masters in Clinical Research and her current interests include quality improvement and trauma. Dr. Busch holds board certifications in General Pediatrics, Child Abuse Pediatrics, and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
