“I have personally had a great experience since day one. The owner is kind, understanding, and does an excellent job. We have taken our German shepherd and Labrador 3 or 4 times now. They always come back clean, smelling great, and feeling nice and soft. Most importantly they are always happy after coming here and even get excited to take their baths! We have taken them to other groomers and they have never been this way, we really appreciate the fact that this means they are treated well even when we are not present. They also smell great for a long time even after having played outside some days, when they normally would stink when coming inside the house. We will definitely keep bringing them here and would recommend if you are looking for a good groomer in the area.“

“Our precious Oreo is a big, hairy shedding machine. That’s why her visits are necessary to keep her looking good (and sanitary), like a little lion. She’s not usually particularly friendly, but she loves everyone here and they always say she’s well-behaved (which she isn’t always at home). Pick up and drop off are always easy and pleasant and our cat always looks great.“

“Edit to this review a year later: Barnwell Oaks is still the greatest kennel ever. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the manager, Shelby, is phenomenal. I adore this place and never, ever doubt when my pets are being boarded here. Go with Barnwell Oaks! You won't be disappointed!I've had no issues with this place whatsoever. I've left my pets here multiple times and the staff are always super attentive to my many dogs' needs (which are quite different from each other) and even have personal updates on my own pets when I come to pick them up. They tell me if my dog was nervous, sick, didn't eat, or similar.I've stopped by a few times to make appointments or drop off vet records and they're always hard at work caring for the dogs, especially during storms or similar. They take the job seriously and cut no corners, and I am grateful to have this service for my pets. I highly recommend them for boarding. Oh, and they're quite affordable too!I see people mentioning that they charge $1 a day to feed your pet their own food, but I have no problem with this as I know it requires extra storage and consideration to feed them outside of what they know already. They also offer grooming services, med-giving services and more, all for affordable rates.Thank you!“

“Robin's is the best place to take your fur baby for grooming. We've experienced the "big store" grooming which is not pleasant. I found out about Robin's and started taking my pup there 9 years ago. He is now 11 years old and walks right through the door every Saturday morning when we are scheduled. We then adopted another pup and started taking him as well. They both walk through the door willingly. They treat your pups like they are one of their own. We always confirm what we are doing for the day, a full groom or mini. They always call to let me know when my boys are ready for pick up. They make the process very smooth and always greeted with a smile. And did I mention they are also SO affordable. We love Robin and her staff!“

I love that she books appointment as one on ones meaning there aren’t a lot of other dogs at the same time and it makes the appointment time much shorter.
