Dog had a sore on her back and told my daughter the wrong day and they squeezed us in yesterday. So glad they did as our dog is on an antibiotic for the sore and has allergies and they took care of that too. We love Sea Island

You may think that this hospital is a decent place to visit with your pet(s) but it is not. The outside of the building may look good, the inside may seem nice- but the people just aren't. There are people here that act nice- but they are really wolves in sheep's clothing... First off, the kennel area is always a packed and noisy mess. Poop and pee may not get cleaned up right away. Last time I was there, the tops of most of the cages were caked in dust and old cockroach skins. A lot of the workers just seemed to care a lot more about getting off of work on time rather than giving each animal the care and attention that they truly deserved. There were times I walked out onto the backyard dog-potty area and was appalled to see decaying feces swarming with flies that the staff should have picked up a long time ago! Dog poop can spread diseases and infections to other dogs- something a hospital should DEFINITELY try to defend against with all their power. Second of all, I have witnessed multiple people go outside with the boarding dogs in the rain and LIGHTENING. Lightening is dangerous and can EASILY kill people and animals. Even when there was no lightening, some of the workers took small dogs into the backyard WITHOUT a leash- oblivious to the fact that large birds of prey are more likely to be found near forested areas- and they could easily catch and kill small dogs when given the opportunity! The people in this hospital seem to think that slowing down and giving animals more patience and attention is a waste of time! In reality, they are making both their lives and the animal's lives more miserable. They never seem to have enough money to do ANYTHING, which is probably why each and every service costs more than the latest iPhone's on the market. Soon, only wealthy folks will be able to come here and get subpar service for their pets. I highly recommend you board your pets in a legit boarding place and just skip this hospital altogether. A real boarding place will take excellent care of your animal(s), keep things clean, and be able to provide enrichment to them along with the appropriate service that they've always deserved since the very beginning.

Every step, for the appointment to the follow up phone calls after the visit were beyond expectations. Dr Meadows and her staff are professional, caring and very knowledgeable. Our kitten had a very unfortunate experience due to another Vet and Dr Meadows went above and beyond to determine what had happened and what, if anything could be done to fix the problem. I would recommend the Practice, all the staff I spoke with or met and Dr Meadows for any pet care you may need. Excellent on all levels. Thank you.
