In kindergarten, my son had no ability to control his emotions or regulate any disappointment. He didn't respect the rules in school, at home or on his bus. He was having a very difficult time not being first in line or losing a game...I was getting messages several day out of the school week; none of them good.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Mastery Martial Arts. My son Josiah started through a 4 week program at school and quickly fell in love with the activity. We signed him up after the four weeks ended and we have been going for the past 5-6 months now. In that time, we have seen him become more dedicated to following through on what he says he is going to do, more confident in trying new things, and overall mood and attitude improvements! My son has attended a few sessions at Mastery, and there have been some concerns surrounding his concentration and confidence. As a mother, I have been incredibly grateful to witness a 19-year-old young man show so much heart, patience, and compassion in the few sessions I have been able to attend with my three year old son
I have watched him share his discipline and kind demeanor with my son, encouraging him to be confident, holding his hand through obstacle courses, and helping him recognize more of what he is capable of. Seeing that has meant more to me than I can truly express.
