“I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Roanne at Alterations Plus because she seriously saved my butt before my wedding! My original seamstress ended up going on maternity leave, so I suddenly needed to find someone who could fit me in and get my dress fitted on a pretty tight timeline. Roanne was fantastic and worked me into her schedule without making me feel like I was bothering her with my last-minute situation. I had made my own alteration on my dress by cutting out a ton of tulle that was so unnecessary- and then i was like i know i need more help removing another layer that made the dress too bulky- she had it removed no problem.
Then came the bustle situation. 😂 I had absolutely NO idea what a bustle even was, and when Roanne mentioned it, I basically said no because I thought it was some kind of unnecessary upcharge. Turns out... I’m just dumb and **I NEEDED A BUSTLE.** 😂 Thankfully, Roanne was able to fit me in again and get everything taken care of **TWO DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING.** And when I tell you everything was perfect, it was PERFECT. My dress fit beautifully, the bustle worked exactly how it was supposed to, and I walked down that aisle feeling amazing. Roanne was so accommodating and wonderful to work with, especially with the time crunch. I’m so grateful I found her when I did and would absolutely recommend her to any bride!”
