Installed a rug in basement and on stairs. Excellent workmenship and installers very nice. They removed the stair rug a few days before installing new rug so we could paint the stair baseboards, which we appreciated very much. I would highly recommend them to install carpeting in your home.

Our concrete basement floor was uneven and needed to be leveled in order to have vinyl plank flooring installed. Other contractors I called described elaborate work that would require days to complete and a lot of $$$. Vee-Jay had an entirely different approach that was in line with the research I had done online and was a fraction of the cost of the other quotes. They knew exactly what to do and they completed the work in just hours. Everyone was kind, professional, and fast. Professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and excellent work!! Couldn’t be happier with our new floor. Job was finished in less than 4 hours, materials came in earlier than projected, job was completed 5 days earlier than scheduled and the price was very good! Will use these guys again and highly recommend to anyone wanting to change flooring!

In 1963, Vee-Jay Floor Covering was established as a family run business. Originally, we were in a 1,500 sq. ft. building on Route 44 in Johnston, RI. In 2000, we moved the business to a larger location with a showroom of 5,500 sq. ft., which is one of the largest around. We also have over 4,500 sq. ft. of warehouse and office space, where we stock inventory to meet our customer's needs faster. We currently have over 80 rolls of sheet vinyl on display and over 150 carpet remnants in stock at all times. Our projects range from a single room in a house to supermarkets and high-end offices. Most of our install professionals have between 20 and 30 years of experience.
