“Mostly favorable, but please let people think for themselves when looking at glasses frames. They were much too pushy and talkative. I don’t know if they get a commission for selling, but it sure seemed like it. I ended up spending $400 on a pair of glasses I never wear because: a) I hate how they look on me; and b) they weren’t really what I was looking for. So I’m still wearing my old prescription at the moment.“

“I was given a pair of folding half aviator Ray-Ban sunglasses as a gift. (See the photo below.) I love them they are comfortable to wear and look great. However, I was having an issue from time to time when closing them, one or both of the nose pads would pop off. So I checked for eyeglass repair shops on Yelp and Neuman came up with 5 stars. He replaced both nose pads and tightened up all the screws and there are plenty as you can imagine. $10 was the charge to fix sunglasses costing several hundred. I thought wow what a deal! I would bring any glasses needing repair to Newman Eyewear!“

“This is my eye doctor who I've been going to for years and I really like him and I like the optometrist there as well. I bought glasses in their I shop this time for the first time. Usually it's very expensive and very beautiful frames but because I had insurance coverage I was able to get glasses that I could afford. They have so many beautiful glasses in so many beautiful frames. But the young lady who helped me was very knowledgeable. She knew her prices and the price levels of the frames and could easily navigate through my insurance. She recommended some glasses for me based on what I described that I was looking for. I ended up getting two pairs of glasses for very little money because she took advantage of the insurances that I have. I got progressive lens is but I'm really trying to find my way around them. It's weird because you actually have to move your head to see far away or to read but I am sure that I will get adjusted to them and hopefully they will make life easier. I'm tired of putting my glasses on and off.“

The front desk staff is super friendly and professional. The doctor asked me lots of questions, gave me a thorough work up, and took the time to explain things to me. I most appreciated that the doctor sent me to my primary physician before prescribing me lenses to ensure that the migraine wasn't causing my prescription to be skewed. “I went in for my first appointment just for a routine eye exam. I found everyone at the front desk very easy to schedule with and Dr. McMahon very thorough and knowledgeable during the exam. I was very happy to find a new optometrist and didn't anticipate returning for a second visit so quickly. Within a few days of my appointment I got something in my eye when walking outside in the wind. I finally called several days later when it became even more irritated and they worked me in the same day. Dr. McMahon found a grain of sand had stuck itself to my eye and said next time to not hesitate calling to come in for a check. It was such a relief to get it out and they were so awesome to get me scheduled same day to come in when I called. My daughter needs a new optometrist and I know who I'll be sending her to! I highly recommend Dr. McMahon and appreciate how considerate and professional both she and her practice is.“
