I was given a pair of folding half aviator Ray-Ban sunglasses as a gift. (See the photo below.) I love them they are comfortable to wear and look great. However, I was having an issue from time to time when closing them, one or both of the nose pads would pop off. So I checked for eyeglass repair shops on Yelp and Neuman came up with 5 stars. He replaced both nose pads and tightened up all the screws and there are plenty as you can imagine. $10 was the charge to fix sunglasses costing several hundred. I thought wow what a deal! I would bring any glasses needing repair to Newman Eyewear!

Dan is the man!I had two pairs of sunglasses that I thought were “goners”. Brought them in, Dan said no problem. Fixed them in less than an hour. Professional and courteous, how refreshing.

This small, tidy, independently-owned shop came highly recommended by Opt and other Providence opticians. What a find. The owner is kind and intelligent, and somehow miraculously saved a crushed pair of my wife’s expensive, Danish-made glasses that would have cost $800 to replace. Moral of the story: Don’t throw away or replace glasses that you think are beyond help. Take them first to Dan at Neuman.
