IVE BEEN TO A FEW HAIR SALONS AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE BUT NOT AT TANISHA'S. SHE MAKES YOU FEEL VERY WELCOMED AND ACTUALLY TALKS TO YOU. IVE BEEN COMING HERE SINCE 2021, AND IVE ONLY HAD ONE COMPLAINT. I WOULD BE NICE IF SHE GAVE A PRICE BEFORE DOING HAIR OR HAD A SIGN WITH PRICES.

My visit to Tanisha's House of Beautiful for my starter locs felt like a journey into a culturally rich oasis. Tanisha exudes a welcoming aura, instantly making you feel part of a larger community. Her understanding of the deep cultural roots of locs is evident in her styling approach. My locs, skillfully done by her, not only looked great but also carried a sense of my personal and cultural story. It was refreshing to see my heritage reflected in my hairstyle. Overall, the experience was more than just a hair appointment; it felt like a celebration of cultural identity. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, excited to see how my locs will mature under her care.

Unfortunately they only do retwists and dont do crochet maintence so for anyone who likes to keep their hair natural and not use products unfortunately we cant be helped here. However ive seen nothing but super fresh styles come out of here so if thats not a worry for you then Id reccomend coming here before somewhere else because they seem to have the best work by pictures and best and nost user friendly booking availability.

Tanisha’s House of Beauty is one of the best in the game! She gets it right every time. Her prices are extremely reasonable, she listens to her costumers and makes sure they are happy with her work. #giftedhands

I called the day before explained what I wanted she told me what I needed for my appt @10am. The next day I got there at 10:05 she told me the braider would be right there. She arrived at 11:20 said she was goin to be doing 6 braids In someone else’s hair before she started mine, about 12:30 she started mine showed her the pic, she did tell me the style would be a little longer. Half way through my hair she told me I didn’t have enough hair had me drive to a hair store with my hair half done to get more hair!!! I come back she’s doin another persons hair again I wait! Finally doing my hair again she finishes. She shows me and it looks a hot mess nothing like the pic then charges me a ridiculous amount no discount for being late none for having to go back to the store then back to the salon.Then has me get to many packs of hair and says I can take them back! I don’t even live In Ri, never again!!! Did all this waiting around because my Birthday was the next day for me to get home to take all out was not goin anywhere looking like that!!!!!!Thank you for reaching out and accommodating me for the inconvenience and dissatisfied service greatly appreciate it!!!
