I wish I could give no stars. Chris is awful. Terrible with communication - once we had booked a date, I had to chase him down for an invoice, for details on the material, for when he would come, for how the house needed to be prepped. When he finally came to do the floors, he put the new vinyl plank flooring over old tile where some where missing. Less than a month later, the flooring split away from each other and he couldnt fix it. He told me I had to pull the new flooring up and fix the floor underneath before he would come back. Even though he told me he would come back ANYTIME to put the new flooring down, he gave me such a hard time with the day I had chosen. After chasing him down yet again (no replies to texts or phone calls), he finally showed up to do the job. In addition to the floor breaking, he left a hole in the flooring behind the toilet, did not do the trim in any of the bedrooms and the way he measured out the angles on several places in the house makes it looks like an amateur did the work. When he came back to do the flooring again, he did two of the closets, but instead of angling out the corners, he just put the trim in at 90 degree angles - it's awful.I couldn't be more disappointed with this guy. His work ethic was just horrible.

Chris did a great job on our floors a few years ago. He was referred to me by my brother-in-law who has an historic home and was pleased with they way his floors turned out. Chris refinished 4 rooms for us, and we're looking to get another done now. I was surprised to see the 1 star review when I googled his business for his #. Just wanted to give my experience...I have nothing but positive things to say about his pricing, work and cleanup.

Not Recommended! It took 5 days to look at the job. After the job was assessed he said he would get me an estimate the next day. It actually took another 5 days for an estimate via text and phone tag. Despite the delays, I still wanted him to do the wood floor resurfacing job for $550. But when I asked for a written proposal or even an depth person to person handshake deal maker, thats when his got hurt and said he was not interested, implying that I thought he was going to "rip me off". I had a lot of other floors I was willing for him to do depending the quality and professionalism of this job! his refusal was a blessing in disguise. Isn't asking for a written proposal the professional and safe step to take? And refusing to write one up as a professional BBB member a little sketchy?
