Here is my little story.I successfully obtained my learner's license in 2010. However, I was afraid of driving, not having the chance to practice as I wanted. So, I renewed my temporary license several times, never feeling ready enough for the practical test. It's only recently that I've taken matters into my own hands. I contacted the École Tecnic Hochelaga and they offered me a block of 3 hours of driving (3 outings of 1 hour each) a few days before my practical test at the SAAQ Langelier. In all honesty, it was one of the best decisions I've made. I highly recommend this à la carte course option, which allows you to perfect more specific aspects of driving.The purpose of this review is above all to highlight the exceptional work of my driving teacher, Mr. Assous Mohand. With exemplary professionalism and patience, he managed to restore my confidence behind the wheel and to drive safely. During the 3 lessons, we reviewed all the steps assessed during the practical exam (starting the vehicle, interior adjustments, parking, speed, blind spots). In addition, during our walks, Mr. Mohand had me drive in the area used during the SAAQ Langelier practical exam, which allowed me to be comfortable on the day of the exam. . I thank him a thousand times for accompanying me in this important stage of my life.I have now held my probationary license since April 25, 2024.

Teach their students to drive against the flow of traffic (I'm sure it's practical on set during rush hour but it's illegal). Well done, well done ?

I was a really nervous person and was really afraid of learning to drive. Fortunately I have the best instructor in the school: Mr Assous is a very patient person, he takes his time to explain everything. Thank you Mr. Assous.

Instructor Mr. Assous, very patient and attentive to student errors: gives techniques and means to pass the exam. I enjoyed the courses with him and would recommend him to anyone starting their course at tecnic. I now feel ready to take my exam. Another big thank you to Mr. Assous.

I enjoyed my class today with instructor Mohand Arab Assous. His explanations were clear. He was patient and gave me a lot of tips that will be useful to me later. I absolutely recommend!

I need to do more studying before the exam, but I need a modified car that I can drive with my hand only because my legs are amputated. Do you have an air-conditioned car?

Lots of mixed emotions for this establishment! After a lot of changes and chaos at the reception, everything became simpler and pleasant with the arrival of Aya, the most efficient and friendly receptionist ever (for real) – a gem. I also really enjoyed my lessons with Michelle, an excellent teacher capable of explaining the basics of driving in a dynamic, calm and pleasant manner. It emphasizes the positives, thus promoting the development of solid confidence behind the wheel – another gem. However, the rest of the teaching staff with whom I had lessons – although often very nice – present few teaching qualities, especially during the first outings. Feedback about driving is often negative, abrupt and stressful, which affects learning. The negative point of Tecnic lies in its administrative department. I have had bad experiences such as cancellations without notice, broken promises of compensation and poor communication. This establishment needs to improve its communications and customer service.
