Great experience at MAIDOR in downtown Montreal. I was helped by the owner, David, and Vicky at the desk, and my online order was handled perfectly as well.
This was my second purchase (Valentine’s Day and now Christmas). Even though I was late, they rushed my order and took care of everything. Super kind, genuine, and friendly people.
I used to shop around, but I’ll be sticking with them from now on. Highly recommend.

Great experience! I was looking for a specific piece for my wife while we were away for our anniversary. I noticed a stone I liked but not the setting. Staff was able to make me a completely new setting based of what I was explaining on the same day as they have makers onsite. The gemstone pendant turned out amazing! Couldn’t be happier with the product and service. Thank you :).

I ordered the single diamond necklace in yellow gold with the 0.05ct diamond, and asked for the chain to be customised to 15”. The Maidor team was more than happy to accommodate my request. I accidentally selected international surface shipping and was worried it would take over a month to reach Norway—but to my surprise, just a few days later, I was contacted by customs to let me know my parcel was on its way to my local post office!
I couldn’t believe how quickly it arrived from Montreal to the little town I live in here in Norway 🤭.
Upon opening the parcel, I was stunned by the quality and craftsmanship of the necklace. It’s absolutely perfect—more than I could have wished for! ❤️ The chain is fine, as described on the website, but feels sturdy and high-quality, and the clasp as well. The size of the diamond is just perfect for me.
I’m sure this is a necklace I’ll cherish and wear daily for the rest of my life ☺️—and it certainly won’t be my last purchase from this wonderful business.

Even though I don’t live in town anymore, I still make a point to visit this jeweler whenever I’m back as they are trustworthy, reliable, quick and incredibly easy to work with. I cannot recommend Maidor enough.
As soon as we entered we were treated with great enthusiasm and kindness as we shopped for my wedding ring. We found a beautiful ring, and as we were in a bit of a tight schedule, they were kind enough to resize on the spot. They had also cleaned my engagement ring for me and they made it look completely brand new, just like the day I got it!
I would highly recommend anyone looking for jewelry or to give a special piece of jewelry new life to come here. Amazing experience and amazing people. Thank you for everything!

I visited this store to explore engagement rings and was shocked by the unwelcoming attitude of the staff. They dismissed us as soon as we said we were just looking, told us not to waste their time, and suggested we try another store if we weren’t buying a real diamond. The way they looked at us made it clear we weren’t welcome. Customer service shouldn’t only be offered if a purchase is guaranteed. Not the kind of service I’d expect from a high-end jewelry store.
I just wanted to kindly clarify a few details. When we visited the store, it was only my friend and I present along with two employees, there were no other clients in the space who required assistance at the time. We were told not to waste the staff’s time, and another customer only entered after that exchange.
Given the circumstances, there was still time to offer a bit of basic customer service, which is why the experience felt disappointing. It wasn’t so much about the products or policies, but more about the way we were spoken to and treated during our visit.
