YMCA du Parc

Dropped in on a weeknight after work to try their open swim and ended up staying for the whole hour and a half, the pool area was clean and way less crowded than I expected for a Tuesday. The front desk staff were super friendly and walked me through the day pass process without any hassle since I was just testing it out before committing to a membership. I also peeked into the gym and the arena space upstairs, and the whole building has this solid old school community center vibe that still feels well maintained. Definitely coming back to check out one of their evening classes next week.

We stopped in a couple weeks ago while wandering around the neighborhood and ended up staying longer than planned just watching a youth hockey practice on the main rink. The staff at the front desk were friendly and pointed us toward the viewing area without any fuss, which we appreciated since neither of us is a member. Parking was easy to find on a weekday afternoon, and the whole building had a nice buzzing, community feel to it. We're not the athletic type anymore, but it was a genuinely pleasant stop and we'd happily swing by again next time we're in Montreal.

Great place for kids’ swimming lessons! My two kids really enjoy their classes here. The instructors are friendly, patient, and very good with the children. We’ve had a great experience overall. Highly recommended!
