i found the place on reddit bc some mcgill students had experience with it. i took my 6-year-old dell xps 13 in to get the battery and thermal paste replaced and the fan cleaned and it was ready the next day. jim is awesome; really responsive to emails, nice, and efficient! he gave me a quote of $168 ($99 for battery) which i thought was reasonable, and the price did not change from that. would recommend
Outstanding, Fast Service!I brought in my laptop after it suffered severe water damage and completely stopped turning on. The team at I-tech System inspected it right away, verified that the CPU was still functional, and performed a board-level motherboard repair. Amazingly, they had the entire issue fixed and the laptop back up and running in just 3 hours!I really appreciate their rapid turnaround time, honest diagnostic work, and professional customer service. Highly recommend them for any complex hardware or liquid damage repairs!
I've taken my laptop to him several times. 👌🏼 he changed the keyboard after my bird pulled out the some of the keys. The price was reasonable; much less than 3 others I called at the time :)
