He saw me struggling to shovel large chunks of ice and snow left at the top of my driveway while I had been out of town for a few days —and stopped to help without hesitation.
I had just arrived home after working eight straight days and was coming back to a very sick child, so this small gesture meant so much to me. What took him about a minute while driving down my street provided immense relief and reminded me that kindness still exists.
