Two years ago when my mom passed and they came for her body, she was almost dropped on the way out of her home. My daughter had to help carry her grandmother after they layed her on the landing of steps going out. We know that this type of thing can happen so when my dad passed recently, we decided to try them again. However, the experience was also disappointing. The man we spoke with knew that my dad was a WW11 veteran and never mentioned that he was eligible to have an honor guard for his funeral.
