OMG, did I luck out!!! last week, on my way back to RI from Richmond, VA on I-83, my Subaru Outback's thermometer light turned bright red, a few minutes later, the check engine light came on & the brake light started blinking. I got off the road ASAP at Exit 4. stuck at a convenience store with 2 dogs, a broken car and no clue where I was at 6p, I knew I was in trouble. An Angel of the Highway turned up when I contacted Karen at All-Trans Truck & Trailer Service. I told her I had my 5 yr old black lab as well as the 13.5 yr old puggle that I adopted from my dear friend whose funeral I had just attended. Karen said that her hisband Steve LOVES black labs & would come right away (15 miles away). Not only did Steve arrive & quickly diagnose that I needed a new thermometer, but also sent Karen with his truck & his brother Butch with his roll-off truck. Karen drove Steve's truck home, Burch wonderfully drove me, my black lab & Maggie the puggle 1.5 hours north to Lenhartsville, PA where I would stay with my 2nd Angel - Collene Esterly-Hamm @ Keeshond Heaven for the night. Collene took care of my keeshond puppy while I drove to Virginia for the funeral. the next day, Steve drove 1.5 hours to deliver my newly fixed car. the bill was unbelievably reasonable, to boot. but ... it was during the drive with Burch that he painted the true values & heart of this family. their Dad always said. " Follow the golden rule always & all days. treat others as you would want to be treated." Burch also shared that Steve is meticulous & very detail oriented. he. takes great care of their clients - new & old - and always strives to fix any problems correctly the first time. Burch & Steve's parents no doubt are smiling in Heaven. And the family at All Trans Truck & Trailer Service is the ONLY place anyone in the broader York, PA should go for their motor vehicle repairs!! Thank you, Steve, Karen & Butch!!!!!!
The VERY BEST! 🎉Steve was absolutely amazing! We were stranded in the rain today, flat tire, unable to change the tire due to lug nuts too tight. We called Steve (on a Sunday) and he was there within minutes. He used a drill to remove the tire, helped my husband change the tire AND REFUSED TO TAKE ANY MONEY. He told me “Happy Mother’s Day” 🌺 He was so nice. We were so touched by Steve’s act of kindness. Thank you Steve!
