I recently had my hair done and honestly am very unsatisfied with the level of service received. The stylist is very talented when it comes to sew-ins/silk presses but her attitude when questions are asked is very unprofessional. I asked a question about the deposit because I hadn't realized the policy changed and got met with such hostility (at this point she expressed she did not want me as a client either - updated added to initial review per email request) that I felt uncomfortable mentioning my concern about how my hair felt 48hrs after it was bleached ( - updated added to intitial review per email sent). I as the customer felt my hair was extremely dry. After paying for the service, days later I wound up going to the store spending a 100+ on products to help with what I felt like was very dry/over processed hair.
This is my updated review based on my opinion of the service I received.
I wish her luck, and personally will not be returning.

I went to Taylor thinking I was getting a deluxe sew in. I get there 10 mintues early she was not there she didn't walk into the building until 11:12 my appointment was at 11 then she has me sitting in the waiting room while she cleans her shop she had nothing ready for my appointment she didn't even have my hair she had someone drop it off to her she was also dying the extentions through out the whole process she ended up doing tape ins but didn't tell me she was doing tape ins until she already started this was my first time being in an actual salon and it was the worst experience my tape ins were falling out on my way home from leaving her shop I drove over an hour to get my hair done by her I've also been trying to reach out to her to either fix my hair or refund me my money and I have not heard anything back from her very disappointing very it's been a week today and more than 10 of the tapes in fell out I will be taking the rest of this mess out today never again

I absolutely LOVE my hair. Taylor did such an amazing job!! Love the whole experience, the vibes, everything was very relaxing, and my hair looks incredible!! I’ve gotten so many compliments. I will be returning soon for extensions, but book with her, she is amazing!

Taylor works wonders and she really cares about natural hair care as well . This is my second quick weave install and she’s done an amazing job . She did a flip over quick weave and I’m absolutely in love with it 🥰 I started receiving compliments as soon as I left her chair .

I reached out for an appointment the night before and was excited to be squeezed in for the very next day! The service was truly remarkable from start to finish. The steam treatment was a relaxing touch, and she provided snacks while giving my hair all the love and attention it needed. I walked in feeling one way and left feeling like a completely different woman. The silk press I received is stunning! I’ve gotten so many compliments! This experience exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return!

Absolutely THE BEST traditional sew-in. The high-quality hair was included in price. Flat to my head, perfectly blended leave out. Also, very timely; Taylor started immediately and finished in great time. Awesome conversationalist with excellent efficiency. I will return for all future hair services. Glam Girl Studio deserves 6 stars!

As someone who never been to a salon, I really enjoyed my experience. I was skeptical at first going to a new stylist but to my surprise everything was amazing and was done to my expectations and beyond. The stylist was kind and pleasant. I had no issues and she did a really good job with my silk press. She even trimmed my ends and didn't try to cut too much off. My experience was perfect. Thank you and I will be a returning customer.

Here to say that this stylist is HIGHLY unprofessional and beyond rude. After sharing my experience (attaching the screenshot because she blocked me on Facebook) she proceeded to call me inappropriate names and insult me for getting human hair bundles at a good deal. She is calling me a liar even after I showed proof of where I bought my bundles? During a time like this when EVERYTHING is expensive and she is not using her hard earned money to pay for my bundles…she cannot make me feel bad for saving money ? it is very telling based on her replies to me what type of business owner she is. She has yet to provide proof that she used ALL 3 of my bundles for the service that I paid for (I also paid a late fee with no arguments whatsoever) but she has plenty of time to call me all kinds of disrespectful names.
I’m absolutely speechless and thank God for showing me that I don’t need to spend my money on a business like this ever again. I already knew after I could see the wig cap when she was done my sew-in but now I definitely know. If you go here, be sure that you have nothing but nice things to say before she cusses you out. She’ll even text you to cuss you out yet calls herself professional. I’m also glad to see someone else left a review sharing the same experience. Sew-in w/ closure is not her expertise!
