Get the scan! They are friendly but most importantly, the information that they provide is invaluable. My dr told me that I had to get it as there is more than calcium caught and can be prevented or fixed.
This facility always has an appointment in a very reasonable amount of time. Scheduling with other UPMC facilities is a nightmare! This is actually still an independent facility even though it has a UPMC heading. It was North Pittsburgh Imaging. I was taken back exactly at the time scheduled and, I had a lovely, caring technician. I have severe back problems with a lot of pain and she was very accomodating to make sure I was comfortable during my scan. Reception was very welcoming and made check in a breeze. I highly recommend this facility and I personally will be using it again. 5+ stars!!!
