I had the issue when first trying to find a builder that when you Google "Custom Home builders near me," you get companies that say and are labeled as custom on Google but are not. When I started my journey of looking for a home builder the number one thing I was looking for was to build a unique home that no one else has. Costa made that dream a reality. Upon my first meeting with Tracey and Tony, I knew they were the ones I wanted my home to be built by. They accommodated so much more than I expected from a home builder after talking with many others before them. Everyone else I spoke to always said "No we don't/can't/won’t do that you need to stay close to our blueprints we have" Costa on the other hand said, "Whatever you can think of we can do it."They are always available to answer any questions/concerns you may have at the start of the project and throughout the whole building process. We had hired them to do some minor repairs at our previous residence to meet code and satisfy the buyer and the work was A+. After our previous home sold we had the funds to redo our main bathroom at our new home. The project supervisor and the work crew put our wants first and replaced a toilet that we changed our minds on after picking out the first one. The work crew showed up day after day and cleaned up the work area to our liking. The estimated time to do the work was ***** days, they finished in 12. If you're looking for a remodel or new construction I can't say enough good things about this company.. The price quote was fair and I would gladly pay it again....You do get what you pay for with this company.“

“I found AB&KBJB through a recommendation from a high school friend. I definitely hit the jackpot! I could NOT love my phenomenal bathroom more!!!I had a very distinct vision of what I wanted - a forest-inspired bathroom where different woods, metals, surfaces and earthtones were "married" together with green to create a "mismatched but matched" spa-like feel . . . after the 20+ year old beat to heck bathroom installed in 2001 (that leaked for at least 15 year - that awful orange nightmare in the end pics below) was completely gutted and a new subfloor and walls were put in. I am sure that Jason probably thought I was off my rocker, but I kept saying "I know what it will look like in my mind and trust me, it will work". Well, as you can see, the pics speak for themselves!Jason is awesome and down to earth to work with. The quality of the craftsmanship of my bathroom is more than I even imagined. What I really liked is that because I was so particular on what I wanted, I discussed with Jason and I purchased my own materials (tile, fixtures, vanity, toilet, blinds,etc.) so that I got exactly what my "vision" was, down to the handmade in Morocco external plumbing shower fixtures and massive rainfall (14" wide!) showerhead that you just can't find in a big box store and a high profile marble-topped freestanding vanity. I worked with Jason so that I knew what to get when I was unsure and I listened to him when my ideas would not have worked (such as the natural stone basin sink I wanted that I decided against when Jason explained I would have to seal it every year - ugh!)If you can't tell, I asked for a massive amount of tiling and it is flawless, down to the way that the glaze in the tile is vertical vs. horizontal to make it appear much more natural like I wanted. The grout is perfect. Everything ...is ...perfect!Not only the work perfect, but not having a second bathroom, it was made sure I had my toilet at the end of every day of work. Oh, and did I mention my house was spotless after the bathroom was finished with nit a so gle sign my bathroom has been demoed and rebuilt from the subfloor and studs up?Jason has a work ethic and dedication second to none - one that I admire wholeheartedly. I am the one person who can vouch for this more than you can ever imagine, as my beautiful bathroom is extremely bittersweet . . .Josh, Jason's awesome brother (mentioned in other reviews), worked on my bathroom for the demo and first half of the project until tragically, he passed away unexpectedly. This more than understandably delayed my bathroom a little bit, but Jason, along with Chris and Jimmy, made sure the delay was the absolute minimal, even working over the weekend to get it done, through his own personal grief, and still with unbelievable quality and precision. I don't even have words for this level of customer service today because it is non-existent.I have my dream bathroom that I have waited my whole life for, not only visually, but quality-wise . . .and oh yeah, $10k less than other companies that do tile work quoted me - and I wouldn't have been able to get exactly what I wanted!If you want a quality bathroom that is affordable with a company that has an unbelievable work ethic, Jason is the way to go - without a doubt. “Winston and his team have done three jobs on my mom's house and each time they have done work, we have been extremely pleased. They did a full bathroom renovation - removing all materials down to the studs and rebuilding, including replacing a tub with a walk-in shower. Another job was installation of a sliding glass door, and the third job was the replacement of siding and gutter/drainpipe on a dormer addition.They are always on time, professional and work hard to get the job done in a timely manner. “It's hard to find someone you can trust, be responsive, and do a good job, but we found this with APJ Home Improvement! They are a rare gem! They don't mess around. The jobs get done quickly! We had recently moved in and there were no closets in our master bedroom. We also had to move the laundry area out of the kitchen.
