This facility is very welcoming. You are greeted warmly when you enter. I was here for my annual mammogram and check-in staff were enthusiastic about all this facility offers and really wanted me to know this particular venue was a Magee facility just like Oakland. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment, was led back to another waiting room just for the mammogram department and shown where the dressing rooms and lockers were and guven instructions to wear the gown with opening in front. One little beef here -- the instructor laughed, directing her comment to another patient already dressed in said pink down waiting saying " I should have a recording". Sigh. Everyone in suite 500 was fantastic. Super nice staff that makes you feel relaxed and at ease before a procedure. Kudos to them. The OB/GYN staff (front desk, medical assistants, and even some of the nurses and doctors) on the other hand could be nicer. Had a few unpleasant experiences with them and don’t appreciate the attitudes and passive aggressive responses to some of the questions I’ve had. Not good to treat patients like they have stupid questions and should know everything. Maybe they should take some notes from the people in suite 500. I do however like my doctor, Claire Steiner. I haven’t had a problem with her.

All I have to say is WOW. I would drive the 45 minutes again and again to have any procedure done at this location. I had an MRI scan done here after having a terrible CT scan experience at St. Margaret’s- so my anxiety was understandably high. Check in was a breeze, I filled out some paperwork, and was immediately called back. The MRI technician Dave was amazing from start to finish. Got an IV in my terrible veins in one try and was friendly and positive throughout the entire process. In fact, everyone I encountered during my procedure was great.
