The team at Nonantum have really gone above and beyond to care for our complicated dachshunds with many health needs, especially my long hair dachshund who has just about every health issue from his back, heart, tummy and cushings. Dr. Rhodes has been soo responsive and attentive to our needs. She is an expert in understanding the medications and diseases. We have had many recent trips to the vet for a variety of health issues and they are very helpful and compassionate. Dr. Rhodes and Nonantum give me peace of mind and really understand our needs. “A truly wonderful experience with Dr. Herrmann and the team at VDS! I was very concerned about our fur baby, Hillary, being under anesthesia and they all made sure to ease my concerns, were extremely empathetic to my situation, and communicated with me constantly throughout the whole procedure and post-op.

Hillary was also experiencing a very intense dermatological issue that required her to go under in order to take skin biopsies. I did not want her going under again so Dr. Herrmann so graciously performed not only the dental surgery, but took three biopsies in order to avoid Hillary going under general a second time.

This was the best investment I could have made for Hillary and my peace of mind. The office itself was so calm and everyone was so welcoming, that I knew right away they would take the best care of her. They made sure to stay in communication with me post-op and even followed up about her skin biopsies before the dermatologist did! “He was a great Veterinarian. I took animals to him for years until his retirement. He was great with them and seemed to know his job very well.He didn't charge an arm and a leg. He seemed to care about the animals more than most. He was reasonable and he could know what was wrong by just looking at them sometimes. He was always great with the animals and I miss him horribly. He looked at my one animal and said I believe she has a thyroid disease. He treated her and she recovered quite quickly and went on to live many years afterwards. He was a great Veterinarian.“
