“Innovative, expert in hair extension techniques and color. Mary and Cara (the owners) have a drive for excellence I haven’t seen locally. I also love the fact that they are always soliciting customer opinions on what we want and we need. The salon offers complete beautification services (what a brilliant idea to have expert but independent providers for Botox, brows, etc, right in the building!), in a classy but very comfortable and friendly environment. I love the vibe of the place - which is, btw, an architecturally historic Wayne building. Unique excellence locally!“

“Eyebrow microblading/powder brow. I wish I took a before of my balding thinning brows, after research I called Valerie with hundreds of questions. She took the time to answer my questions and within 2 days I was sitting in her chair!! Valerie put me at ease, made me comfortable and transformed my eyebrows to a beautiful shape and shade. “I got married at the beginning of August and am so glad I went with Something You Beauty for our hair and makeup! I was looking for a place that could channel the natural, soft glam look I was hoping for, and they provided exactly that. Since we had a church ceremony and a bit of time before we could access our reception site, we booked the suite at the salon to get ready- I had 8 bridesmaids, myself, and parents, and it was the perfect backdrop for our morning. Quiet, clean, and a pretty backdrop for getting ready photos. We also did the first looks in the courtyard, which provided beautiful scenery.

My makeup and hair lasted all day & night, and looked absolutely seamless. Hayley worked with me to get exactly what I was picturing, and was so open to adjustments. But really, there weren’t many needed because she nailed it! I felt glowy and beautiful the entire day, start to finish.

They were organized and easy to work with from a planning perspective. The timeline they provided for all of our girls ensured that the morning flowed seamlessly. We never felt rushed or behind schedule. They were professional, kind, and attentive.
