Stowe Family Practice

My grand mother has been going to this practice for over 20 years. Usually only need routine yearly checks. She is now 84 years old and having leg pain and needs to be seen. After finally getting a return call they said they are booked up until December!! Unless i want to call every morning at 8am to see if she can get in a sick appt. They said if no one answers keep calling back until someone picks up and may there will be a time they can get her in a sick slot as if I don't work myself and can just take off at the drop of a hat. Doctor Shannon Hoffman is a lifesaver and I will go to my grave 10 toes down on that; she is fabulous and I would give this rating higher. If not for the answering service that is so trash that every time I have to call I wish I could just destroy everything. Linda, in particular at the answering service seems to think she’s better than everyone has an attitude and seems to think like she knows what is going to come out of your mouth before you say it and that just irks my soul I would give Linda specifically zero stars if I could, and Doctor Shannon Hoffman 10 stars if I could, unfortunately I have to split the difference.

They need to get their act together. They call and ask me to come in early for an appointment then don't change in computer making me waste my time. Then rudely arguing with me as to what I'm there for?

Get your act together! This is no way to treat patients.
