After closing my own shop and finishing up a 20+ year career in hair, I needed a hairdresser myself and got John's name from a client who had already chosen her next stylist. She spoke very highly of him and she was right! He listened to me, he was fun, he made me feel interesting and amazing. Most importantly, he did a great job for me, a person who is so hard to please that I had given up years ago and just did it all myself (it's not them--it's me). I had a great experience with John at Mane Street Station and highly recommend him, especially if you have curly hair or are dealing with postpartum hair breakage.
From the start, John was friendly, easy to talk to, and very collaborative. He checked in throughout the entire appointment about length, shape, and overall goals, which made me feel really comfortable and confident. He truly listened to what I wanted and offered thoughtful suggestions without ever pushing his own agenda.

Looove this place! This is my second time going to get my hair cut cause my first time was that good. I like having John cut my hair, he sees the vision and makes it possible. Plus he’s super sweet and easy to get along with, and always ask if you like what he’s doing with your hair! Overall the atmosphere is very relaxing and chill; everyone seems to get along very well. They do have a cute little frenchie that’s there from time to time that’s very friendly. But yeah, this is my go to place to get my hair done!!
