“I went to the Springfield store for some XLR cords and I as soon as I walked in there about 4 employees that stopped what they were doing and greeted me almost simultaneously. You would’ve thought I was Justin Bieber or something. Customer service like that in my opinion is old school and you don’t see anymore these days. They were great with helping me decide what size and quality cords to get. As a mobile dj I’ve bought cords many different places but theirs always seems to last the longest and their warranty plan is great. 5 stars hands down!“

“Last time I went here when I was in elementary school with my dad and I came back today to see the magic maintained ✨ Super epic place! So many cool instruments to experiment with and a ton of accessories! Wayne was super professional and easy to talk to about my varied needs. I went in for things related to clarinet, electric banjolele, drums and hopefully returning to investigate harmonicas! It’s really well organized and they have achievable range of lower price to fancier and better quality for higher price. Sooo many guitars and uke’s avalible. “We have had a great time at Green Tambourine- my then 5 year old started by attending a weekend open house, followed by a summer camp and now regular violin lessons. Ms Ann is an amazing teacher who not only teaches the kids music, but is also able to fill them with the joy that comes from learning music; the whole environment at GT is just so wonderful. They are very flexible and offer make up classes. Last year, they agreed to summer classes just so that we keep up the skills. We absolutely love Green Tambourine and encourage others to explore!“

“My daughter has been taking classes and lessons at Settlement going on 5 years now. She’s also in the youth choir. They offer financial aid and run a preschool program. The teachers are top notch and the school as a whole provides a nice sense of community. Though a lot of the instruction is classical oriented—and that may be a newcomer’s takeaway after looking through the website, my daughter plays folk and rock mostly. Anything goes, just let them know what you want/need.“
