“Wonderful first appointment with Dr. Franz!! First, I was able to get an emergency visit within a few days of calling, which was a relief. Dr. Franz was outstanding! Ive never seen any dentist do everything that occurred during the appointment by himself! Literally - he took the x-rays, did charting, etc. Doing it this way put me completely at ease bc he was so engaged and i could very clearly see how much he truly cared. “One of the best experiences in Pittsburgh! They are incredibly gentle and quick; only need to put 1hr and 15 minutes in the meter and they seem to be on the cutting edge of dental technology. At my cleaning yesterday, it was my first time using the water jet tool for removing plague and tartar, which made for way less time spent scraping! I highly recommend!At my previous cleaning, they filled a small cavity without any pain meds. Now, it sounds bad, but it's really just a testament to their skill! It barely hurt at all and I was able to walk out of there with a face full of feeling and not an afternoon of dealing with numbness“

“I cracked a molar a couple weeks ago, and delayed going to get it fixed due to a bad experience with a different dentist in the past. On Saturday, it started to hurt really bad, and I couldn’t bare the pain anymore. I called Dr Maslos office, and they were able to get me in immediately on Monday afternoon. They called me back a little while later and told me they could get me in even earlier because of a cancellation. I told dr maslo and his staff about my debacle with a previous dentist, and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and explain every step of the way. They continued to make sure I was ok during the root canal. All my fears have gone away, and I found a dentist that I can trust. The pain was gone even after the pain blocker wore off. I am extremely grateful to dr maslo and his staff, and I would recommend them to anyone that has any kind of fear of the dentist.“

“I rarely if ever write reviews, but after leaving McMurray Family Dental today, I have to share how wonderful Dr. Spatz is and April or Ashley (I told you I would forget even after telling me twice). I have had horrible teeth for as long as I can remember. I would feel shame/embarrassment almost every time I've gone to the dentist. My teeth have gotten worse because I have chronic dry mouth from medication. As I started to cry about all the stuff that needed to be done, Dr. Spatz put his hand on my shoulder and said "I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this b/c of dry mouth". Have you ever had a dentist be so understanding and kind? I haven't. So, I left there knowing I have a lot of dental appointments in my future, however I was not as distressed as I normally would be. I felt heard, cared about, and understood and while I will never love going to the dentist - Dr. Spatz makes it a little less "painful" Thank you so much!“

They fit me in very last minute, had already looked into my insurance benefits, and everyone was so friendly.
