We built with Shorten two years ago, and overall we had a positive experience. Like any build, there have been a few issues along the way, but there hasn’t been anything that Shorten has simply left us to figure out on our own. They’ve worked with us to address concerns as they came up.
One thing I really appreciated was having the option to use our own contractors for the excavation, well, septic, and garage, while Shorten handled everything else. It gave us some flexibility during the building process. Overall, we are happy with our home, the experience with Shorten and their subcontractors.

We've been in our home for 2 years. We are so pleased with the experience. They are fair and responsive. They responded to our needs very timely. We couldn't be happier with our experience.
