Carl the Old.man dosen't run things anymore his son runs it and became greedy over the years 4 grand for a cremation when 5 other scranton area funeral homes charged nomore then 2grand for a cremation 11 grand for a ordinary funeral viewing services no compassion or care whatsoever save yourself grief and stress don't send a loved one there..

I called Savinos maybe 3 days before mom passed to get pricing info and they told me their services cost $7,850 for a traditional services.Saturday when mom passed the facility she was at didn’t hold “bodies” they gave us 1 hr to figure it out.I called Savinos & they told me that’s it’s $11,000 upfront or they wouldn’t come at all.That left us scrambling because the max i could put on my charge card was $8,000.I asked if they had any type of payment arrangement that they could work out with us since ALL of my family have been going there for years. If I could rate them a zero I would. For as long as I can remember all of my family members had services here. My mom passed and when I contacted they would not even extend anything unless they got 11,000.00 upfront.They have no compassion for the grieving family. Would not recommend they are all about the money and do not care about anything else
