I switched to them about a year ago. They have seen my cat and dog. Dr. Anna, Sam and Kelly are great. The other workers were great too, but I can't remember their names.

I simply love this veterinary hospital. The people there treat my animals like they are the most important creatures on the planet. I am not exaggerating. From the women out front to the techs to the doctors, EVERYONE puts out the same loving caring helpful energy. I used this veterinary hospital for my first dog, Ruby. Unfortunately she got an aggressive quick spreading cancer. Dr Anna helped me release her from her pain. I got a rescue dog about 6 months after Ruby left us and Dr Anna has been taking care of Waffles (my dog) since then which has been almost 6 years now. My sister brings her dogs to Schwenksville also. We both love the people of Schwenksville veterinary hospital. They are the kindest, most caring most compassionate animal hospital that we have found in this area. You won’t be wrong to trust these people with your pets. Your animals will receive the best care possible.

i’m not one to usually leave negative comments or reviews, but after my last encounter with this vet I felt it was necessary. I had just recently purchased a dog for my mom as a gift. I drove five hours away to pick up the dog and brought her home within the first week of her being home we checked her in to our local vet made sure she had her shots and everything was up-to-date. after two weeks of having dog our other dog ( a german shepard) had nipped our new dog ( her name was joy) and gave her an abscess along her neck. the vet said she needed a procedure to drain and clear the liquid out of her neck, my mom the one who brought her in was persistent on doing what we had to to get our new dog back to a healthy and happy state. we got the 700$ procedure. and everyday for the next 8 days we had to bring her in after 3pm for her cleaning and new bandaging not to mention it was 50$ per day. on the 8th day the doctor said he will do our new dogs check in the next day. My anxious mother brought her in the next day and the doctor claimed she needed the same exact procedure she had just received. my mom didn’t have the best credit at the time and quite frankly we couldn’t afford another 700 procedure a week after we had gotten one. my mom asked the doctor for a payment plan, they told her she wasn’t eligible and were being unreasonable. keep in mind my mom is a foreigner, very heavy accent, and very little knowledge on what to do in a situation like this. my mother was given no choice other than to pay upfront the 700$ and then the payments for cleaning or signing a paper to put our new dog into the hands of the vet. unfortunately my mom made the choice to hand over our dog. The person who received our dog was the doctors assistant, her name was amber. she is a dog breeder and has 7 golden retrievers herself. there suggestion was “ she’d be better off with us” i’m absolutely disgusted by the actions and lack of help we received with our local vet and simply embarrassed by the way you treated my mother. We have been at this vet for 6 years and honestly we will never will return again we are better off at the harleysville vet.This experience has left us deeply disappointed and feeling that the clinic was unreasonable and lacked compassion, especially considering my mother’s circumstances.

First experience was great. The tech and veterinarian were very thorough with my puppy. They did not rush my appointment thru as I had many questions. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

I freakin love this place. So did Arria and Siv! I’ve been taking our pets here for 13 years. I never feel like a burden with all my crazy questions and never feel rushed at my visits. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, you all have guided us and supported us in our decisions, have been amazing shoulders to cry on and just all around wonderful.
We love you and Sanka loves it too!

We take both our pups there and have for a very long time. They have always been amazing even before we had pups and had cats. They took care of the cats very very well. Definitely recommend them. They are compassionate and practical.
