I just had my 1st visit with this vet. I did have to wait a bit but thats understandable and they let me know as i could see they were swamped especially with calls. I can't say enough on how kind, caring and knowledgeable the vet is. The lady i watched take dogs back was super gentle and patient with the dogs also. I have been through so many vets in York County for the past 30 yrs. and this is the best one ever. The vet took his time actually listening and talking with me over my concerns. After a lot of research ( and switching from another practice nearby ), I found them to be very nice,professional, patient oriented, genuine, and reasonably priced.
I brougt my sick cat in ( cancer) Dr .Ludwig was very knowledgeable and empathic and walked me through the options realistically.
His practice is not like the corporate places, all about money, rushing, and volume. You can see he and his staff genuinely care.
If you're looking for a practice more like an old-fashioned, conservative country vet. I highly recommend them.
We have been bringing our three senior dogs here for the past three years. Dr. Ludwig and the staff is great. He genuinely cares and takes his time in figuring out the issue without overcharging. I thought my senior dog was going to need put down soon but with the proper treatment, he was able to prolong her life and she is happy. Hands down the best vet we have been to.
