Dr. Feinsod and his team are absolutely phenomenal! In the 12 years of owning my eclectus parrot I have never found a Doctor who has cared for my bird. I have always felt rushed and we always left with traumatic experiences. Dr. Feinsod took all that fear away. He is extremely knowledgeable and conformable handling parrots, which should be expected with avian doctors but is so hard to find. Well worth the hour commute. If you were like me and had terrible experiences in the past give Ani-Care Animal hospital a chance. Brilliant vet. I have been taking my chinchilla here for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. After a botched oral surgery from a vet in Harrisburg years ago, Dr. Feinsod has continued to go above and beyond to give her the best care I could ask for. If you have an exotic pet, I wouldn’t recommend anyone but him. We drive over an hour for him to see both our chinchilla and our dog because of his true compassion for treating animals and is always so thorough in his treatment plans. A very good and knowledgeable vet. He came highly recommended for rabbits. He has been the only vet to see my babies since. He sometimes over and under explains and is not afraid to fat shame pets. But I still come to him because he is excellent and truly loves animals ❤️
