I have been taking lessons here for almost 2 years now. The amount of knowledge I have received is invaluable. You learn to better yourself in every way possible, whether it’s physically or mentally. Many of the things you learn will apply to real world scenarios. I would definitely recommend this dojo to anyone from all walks of life to better themselves in the way of karate!
Love this place. I originally came here for Iaido classes with Mr. Zondlo, and now I'm almost a year into their Karate program. It's a great place where you can get personalized attention that a lot of other schools don't want to give their students. You'll learn a lot coming here: Kata, waza, self-defense, sparring, Okinawan & Japanese culture. The Heilmans are experienced and happy to share their knowledge, and Wrenshi Reeser is an excellent teacher.
The Iaido instruction here is unmatched. The senior students and Mr. Zondlo both really care about making you into a better Iaidoka.

The training and guidance I have received at this dojo is truly unparalleled. A little over a year ago, I found Keiko Ha sword program and contacted Mr. Zondlo for more information. The more I learned, the more I was excited to start! I am extremely grateful to Mr. Zondlo for having three independent sessions with me before I joined the regular class. I felt more confident and not so worried about being able to keep up. Since starting I have learned so much! Mr. Zondlo has a wealth of knowledge that he is always willing to share. I find the different ryū and styles of swordsmanship very interesting. It’s so neat that we get to train in iaido, kenjutsu, and kendo.
