Alot of caring and kindness comes from this animal hospital. From getting my furry family members healthy to the last days, they have been a place for care and compassion. The affection with which the staff shows the patients is clear and there is never a furious push to get insurance, it's always about whose in their caste.
The veterinarian has great bed side manner and will go out of his way to help with explanations for more difficult choices.

Dr Lee and the staff are amazing. I’ve visited my fair share of animal hospitals in Berks County and always had issues, until I found Antietam Valley. Just wish I had found them sooner.
I cannot say enough about my experience today with AVAH. My dog had an ultrasound done and concerning findings were discovered. The vet was kind, patient, and extremely sympathetic during the entire appointment to both myself and my dog. The tech/nurse was also extremely kind, soft spoken, and wonderful. Thank you AVAH.
