My senior mini-schnauzer has tried many grooming providers in her life, but none as caring and attentive as Katie. And those qualities matter, particularly with pups who get anxious during these services.

There is a palpable zen vibe when you enter the shop. Soft music, calmed dogs on the table and a total absence of loud, clattering noises and the hurried chaos (that can be so typical of some grooming establishments from over-booking) greet you. Katie listens, observes, adapts and accommodates to make your pet feel relaxed and comfortable.

When I picked Ava up at the promised time, not only did she look phenomenal with her well-upgraded schnauzer cut and style, but she was happy! She’d received gentle treatment, and some yummy and holistic rewards. There was no shaking/trembling/panting on our ride home, and she was the most relaxed I’d ever seen her following a grooming service.

“This place is phenomenal, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes with my cats nail trim. And he is a polydactyl and they handled him with such care and efficiency. They were so good with him my cat didn’t even hide when we came back to the house! Everyone there is as nice as can be and they take extra steps to make sure everyone and everything is safe!
I will absolutely be returning here and recommending anyone who needs a quick nail trim or groom to come here and feel the experience!!

“A few months ago my mom and I adopted a 3 month old havanese puppy. After the first month and seeing how fast his hair grew I wanted to get him groomed. I went back and forth between a handful of places and landed on Scrub A Pup Pup. I took him to see Allison because a family friend had recommended her to us. She did an amazing job on him, and even gave us helpful tips to get him used to the groomers and the tools they'd be using. They truly are amazing!!“

I recognize him from when I used to bring ferals for vetting when he was at the SPCA in Philly. I just found out the beautiful mural of the Vet across from the SPCA is him! Dr Ravi is a great man and a wonderful vet!“

They are our number one choice when it comes to animal care and boarding for our dog, they take the stress and worry away, went on vacation, and our dog needs to be boarded and she loves it there. “This place is SO amazing! Our groomer, Jenna, does such a great job! I asked for a “puppy” haircut for our miniature schnauzer but said I still wanted her to have a little beard and eyebrows. She did such a great job and my husband and I keep looking at her and saying how cute she looks since her appointment! Our dog can be VERY temperamental, and I struggle to cut her nails at home. Jenna is able to cut and file her nails and is patient with her and gives her such a great haircut every time! Thank you so much to Jenna and her team! Couldn’t recommend this place more!“

“Great spot with really nice people! We’ve booked our dog-son for daycare and boarding, both of which he’s really enjoyed. The team has answered any question we’ve had and have shared updates when we check in (which we do because we’re anxious people). Will keep planning stays with the team and hopefully our dog-son learns to chill out more and more, maybe even make some friends! (he’s also anxious).“
