We also assist the physically disabled and individuals who are recovering from surgery or other injuries or illnesses. I started out at Age In Place Home Care as a caregiver. I enjoyed being a caregiver for Age In Place Home Care because it gave me the opportunity to to meet some great individuals with some really great histories. In October 2020 I had a heart attack requiring open heart bypass surgery at which point I was home on the mend. Erika has been great in finding me caregivers that are very attentive to my care. I have to go to a lot of appointments and they have done well with driving me back-and-forth to them. I also have five dogs and they help with taking them out and bringing them back in. Age in Place Home Care is a good place to work and gain health care experience. The staff and management are friendly and easy to get ahold of when there's a issue about the client or need personal time off. To be a caregiver you should have great people skills and patience to deal with each one of your assignments. If not, ask to be place somewhere else. The company tries to get good people that need your help.
