To say that The Yoga Factory has changed my life is a gross understatement. Over the past 17 years of attending classes, I've completely transformed myself (physically, psychologically and emotionally) and my artistry (I am a dancer/choreographer/educator) in ways I never thought possible.
I am now attending a 26&2 hot yoga class 7 days a week. If you're reading the reviews for this place, you're on the right track- you're doing amazing. Just hydrate yourself, sign up, and stop in. I came in on a whim because I thought some stretching in a hot room would relieve my muscle soreness. 15 months later I've lost 60 pounds and stress no longer rules my life. For 100ish dollars a month and 90 minutes of effort a day I've replaced bitterness with hope and found a little inner peace. Stepping onto the mat and towel is like a magic carpet ride, and a whole new world has opened for me.
Absolutely love this studio! I found it a few months ago, and I drove far to make it to the class this morning! It was wonderful!! Bikram style- if you read some of the other reviews saying that the instructors are harsh, you are likely not used to Bikram Yoga. As someone who has taken many Bikram classes at many studios, I was surprised to read some of the 1-2 star reviews. Obviously, I was not there to experience whatever those people experienced, but do you wanna put it out there that Bikram style yoga is different than other Yoga…. if you’re not well-versed in it, you may consider it calling someone out.
