Between myself and my parents we have been customers since 1990. Recently I had a weekend eye emergency that Mercy Hospital Ophtalmology group addressed. Not only they addressed the issue but dispelled a diagnosis of my eyes for 10 years from South Hills Eye Associates. I was so perturbed because for 5 years I had to buy Restasis when I did not need it for that long nor could afford it (1K a month). Furthermore South Hills Associates for decades never accepted ANY of my insurances while at Mercy they did. And to add insult to injury....my ophtalmologist had someone from the office call me to say that when I am done with my eye issue then I could return for a checkup!...read full review

I really liked rhe doctors at South Hills Eye Associates. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with Casey in billing. I hope she doesn’t treat all patients the way I was treated. I’ll be looking for a new doctor’s office.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They are very pleasant and very thorough. The doctors are very nice and professional. They really care about their patients. They take a conservative approach to eye care and I think that is great.
