Charles J Kent, MD, MMM is an ophthalmologist with a focus on Oculoplastics and Cataracts at Everett & Hurite Ophthalmic Association. He completed his training at Harvard University's ophthalmology department and has been practicing in Pittsburgh since then. Dr. Kent specializes in treating functional eyelid issues such as droopy eyelids and tumors of the eyelids and eye socket. He also has expertise in cosmetic facial rejuvenation through surgery, dermal fillers, and Botox. Dr. Kent is one of the few oculoplastic surgeons who continues to treat both children and adults. Patients have reported short wait times, friendly and professional staff, and a doctor who listens and addresses any concerns. He is highly recommended for his abilities and going above and beyond what is expected. Dr. Kent has been board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1997 for Ophthalmology.
Doctor and staff very nice and helpful. I do not have 1 complaint.
However, once taken back to operating room, it went super quick. But from the time the IV was put in, I waited 2 1/2 hours! Having not eaten, I had a headache. The waiting was terrible. Next time for left eye I will take my IPad or a book to pass the time.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kent for a thorough eye exam this week, through a referral from my primary PCP. He did a great job with listening to my concerns, my past history, and analyzing my records to try and figure out what is going on with my eyes. The only complaint I had, is that I sat in the waiting room 45 minutes past my appointment time. I can understand why though, because he is very thorough.
Very happy with the results, way better than I expected! Dr. Kent was amazing and I highly recommend him! I had NO trouble at all! Everyone was super efficient and kind! No anxiety for having the left eye done! Much easier than I thought!!
