His establishment has been an institution for several years in the Brookline Section of Pittsburgh.

In the age of commercial hair cutting chains... it is always a pleasure to have a true gentleman in his historic business to cut your hair.

Still set up the old fashioned way it was when jt first opened. My stepdad has been getting his haircut by Sal since he was a little boy that’s like over 30years! And he won’t go to anyone else!

Great vibe at Sal's. He's clearly doing something right. Four fellows awaited haircuts when I arrived, and that number was restored by a new customer through the door as the each satisfied customer exited. In short, well worth the wait. I've found my new go-to barber.
