My husband surprised me with a beautiful stain glass picture of my favorite quilt block in my favorite color from Observatory Hill Stained Glass.
It is amazing, neatly done and you can see the quality and craftsmanship even in the frame that they put it in. Can't tell you how happy I am with it. Cannot wait to hang it in my window.
If you ever need a gift for someone or need any kind of stain glass window repair, I highly recommend OHSGSTUDIO.
Sean's work is exceptional! This window is circa 1912. Twenty years ago I had a couple panes on this window repaired (lower left) by a glass shop north of Pittsburgh and that repair hadn't sat right with me since.
I broke a couple panes (upper right) last summer while recklessly moving a box mattress, which I interpreted as the Universe's motivation to restore this window to its original grace.
I found Sean through Google and read the reviews. He did not disappoint! The effort he put into matching the glass color and texture was extraordinary! He exceeded my most optimistic expectations!
Pittsburgh is fortunate to have such a gifted local resource!
The leaded window in our front door separated from its supports and began to bow out. We contacted Observatory Hill Stained Glass Studio. They were able to stabilized it, remove it and rebuild it. It was a pleasure to work with such skilled craftsmen. Sean came when he said he was going to come and left everything cleaned up. His work is meticulous.
