The woman was amazing. Went in with tension and knots in my upper back. I did the 30mun massage and let me tell you I have had a few massages at places near uniontown pa. I was in this area for an appt. This was the best massage I have ever had. She was very polite and friendly. Def know what they r doing and the woman asks of you want gentle, medium, or hard. I did hard amd it felt amazing. The tension in shoulders and neck is gone. And my upper back feels 10x better. Thanks again.
Came here without an appointment during COVID and they fit me right in for a 90-minute massage. It was great! I'd recommend without question! Intense massage! Very, very clean massage room and restroom. Spacious massage room which was nice because I came in sweaty and was worried I may have smelled a little less than shower fresh, so, the extra space was a relief!!! 90 dollars for 90 minutes full body massage, you can't beat that. If you use your credit card there is a $3 surcharge so I paid cash. I generally prefer to go to Chinese Bodywork places like this because they are cheaper and you are not paying for all the frills. Also, there is no expectation of having a conversation with anybody. I recommend checking out this place and Chinese Bodywork places if you are relatively unpicky about your massage and just like to get a nice rub down. If you are somebody who likes to be super picky and give a lot of direction and specifics to someone who's going to be your massage therapist, then you're probably better off going to one of the more traditional massage therapy places where you can go into details before your session at length. With Chinese Bodywork the expectation is that you you kind of just go in, lay down, and let the Chinese body work person do their thing.
Let me start by saying I stumbled on this place accidentally while looking for somewhere else. However, I am so glad I did! Now, for the cons (for some people, but not me). You may not like this place if you:1. Are looking for someone with a light touch. 2. Don't like walking up a fire escape while the front steps are being repaired and entering into someone's kitchen. 3. Don't receive an assessment/intake where you discuss your ailments and what you want to focus on. 4. Need to have someone who speaks English well (we sometimes had to use her Google translator). Having said all that, this woman (Jenny I think) worked the s*** out of my knots. She worked on knots I didn't even know I had! Now for the nitty gritty: I paid $50 for an hour. I got completely undressed and laid on the table and covered myself with a towel. She initially messaged me from head to toe while the towel was on, then took it off and incorporated massage oils and some type of scrub for an exfoliation. She periodically asked about pressure which was fine (I like it a bit rough). She used hot stones on me (nice addition and totally optional) then hot asf towels to melt away my knots and massage in the oils. Once she was done with my back she turned me over and paid a really nice amount of attention to my thighs, calves, feet, and toes. I didn't even know my toes could crack! Then to top it all off, when she helped me sit up, she climbed on the table and massaged/chopped/pounded my shoulders, back, and neck (she also did this throughout to my back and legs). I walked out of there light as air. Clearly this was where I was meant to be, rather than that other place. I will definitely be returning!
