Worked with AZA/blockhouse in 2024 on renovations to a bathroom as well as a leaking balcony/bedroom and was overall very happy. We had plans for a larger new construction but unfortunately due to personal reasons we had to back out.
- Professionalism: Andrew and Kevin were very reliable and professional. All their sub-contractors were as well. They did their best to keep the dust to a minimum, cleaned up after themselves and never showed up unannounced.
Most importantly I felt Andrew was upfront and honest about costs, anticipated timelines as well unexpected pitfalls. I never felt like I was getting duped or taken advantage of.

I worked with Blockhouse Residential on a design project. I am a custom shop that needed advise on production of a repeatable system. I worked with Lauren and BR and couldn't have had a more rewarding experience.
Blockhouse Residential is an outstanding firm. I just finished working with them on a project in Pittsburgh and they were phenomenal.
Andrew and Kevin at Blockhouse anticipated my concerns, patiently explained complex building and permitting procedures, and were consistently accessible and friendly. The project we worked on went smoothly, and I am not aware of anything Blockhouse could have done to make the project have gone any smoother.
I know other people who have worked with Blockhouse and they have equally high praise for them. The care and consideration they took in working with me is not unusual for them, that is just how they treat their clients.
